Strawberry Panna Cotta – Recipe from Koukakis Farm

  • 1 cup whole milk
  • 3 cups heavy cream
  • 1 tbsp powdered gelatin
  • ⅓ cup honey
  • 1 tbsp powdered sugar
  • A pinch of salt
  • 2 cups strawberries (cut into small pieces)
  • 2 tbsp brandy
  • 1 tbsp sugar
  1. Place the milk and gelatin in a saucepan for 5 minutes until softened.
  2. Over medium heat, stir until the gelatin dissolves but do not let the milk boil.
  3. Add the heavy cream, honey, sugar, salt, and stir until everything is dissolved.
  4. Remove from heat and let the mixture cool.
  5. Divide the cream into glasses or bowls, cover with plastic wrap, and refrigerate for at least 6 hours.
  6. 20 minutes before serving, mix the strawberries with the brandy and sugar.
  7. Add them on top of the panna cotta.
